In Fall 2023, Helen Bauer Design was brought on to design the brand identity for Building Smarter LLC, a commercial and industrial construction company based in Niles, Michigan.

Family owned and operated since 2011, the team behind Building Smarter began as a deck building company but have since branched out into other construction lines of business. In 2023 they began working on commercial and light industrial projects, and they needed a new brand identity to present themselves as serious players within the field.

The brand identity uses ruler ticks as a graphic element to convey the team's superior organization, attention to detail, and "measure twice, cut once" mentality.
